PvP Punishment: Maintaining Fair Gameplay

PvP Punishment is a server-side mod designed to address low-level kills and maintain fair gameplay dynamics in V Rising. By implementing various configurable options, this mod helps prevent abuse and punish players who engage in unfair PvP practices.

Key Configuration Options:

• Level Difference Threshold: Set the level difference at which an offense is recorded.
• Anti-Cheesing System: Enable or disable the usage of the anti-cheesing system, which tracks the highest gear score in the past X minutes instead of the current gear score.
• Offense Count: Adjust the number of offenses a player can make before facing punishment.
• Offense Cooldown Time: Set the cooldown time before the offense counter resets.
• Punishment Duration: Determine the duration of the punishment.
• Punishment Effects: Customize the punishment effects, including reduced movement speed, max health, resistances, and power.

Installation Instructions:

1. Install BepInEx and Wetstone.
2. Extract the Vmods.mod-name.dll file.
3. Move the mod to the [VRising (server) folder]/BepInEx/WetstonePlugins/ directory.
4. Launch the server (or game) to auto-generate the config files.
5. Edit the configs as desired (found in [VRising (server) folder]/BepInEx/config/).
6. Reload the mods using the Wetstone commands or restart the server/game if necessary.

With PvP Punishment installed and configured, server administrators can ensure a more balanced and enjoyable PvP environment for all players in V Rising.
